Web Design & Development
Vines Pasta Grill was in need of fresh creative and a website that
represented the quality and warmth of their restaurant. We opted
for lush, earthy colours that both spoke to the food and ambiance,
and that also represented the warm personalities of owners Hans and Tina
This project combined a custom-built, modern web-design with on-site
photography that captured the warmth and inviting feeling that
permeates the entire dining room.
Print Design & Layout
Eastern College has assigned each of their seven faculties a nice
eye-catching colour. In order to differentiate between ads in this
campaign, we opted to utilize the faculty colours as the primary visual
in each ad. Combined with industry-specific imagery, we were able to
find a compelling way to speak to Eastern's diploma program offerings
while still maintaining a clean layout.
Radio & Audio Production
Barbering - Eastern College
With this particular radio campaign we wanted to find something that
would grab attention without being too "over-the-top". We landed on
a script that contained some fun wording and attitude which played a
bit with the current Eastern tagline.
We also went with a happy-but-subdued backing track. This allowed
our narrator to really break-through while still speaking in a
calm, suave-style voice.
Brand - triOS
This spot features the same voice talent, but is a stark contrast
to the "easy-breezy" feel of the above track. Eastern College's sibling in Southern Ontario, triOS College, needed a brand spot with punch. We went with a more uptempo alt-rock background (almost
reminiscent of a Foo Fighters riff) and pushed the energy and
enthusiasm on the voice-over.
Video & TV Production
Beech Tree Academy are a leader in early childhood education. They needed
a video which showcased not only their facilities, but their philosophy.
Perhaps most importantly, founder Chris Morash wanted to capture the soul
of Beech Tree Academy as this is what has kept their centre full since
since day one.
We started with a simple storyboard and identified the type of video we
wanted to do - in this case, a virtual tour which focused on
recreating the conversations Chris has with new parents. Rather than
memorizing a script (since Chris is not a professional actor) we asked
him a set of agreed upon questions from off-camera and captured his best
responses. This allows for a natural flow and highlights the passion
Chris (and wife Honey) have for providing the best in early childhood
Logos & Branding
Backman Heating & Cooling needed a strong identity. We worked
together to develop a brand that incorporated not just colours
representing hot and cold, but a visual of the cyclical nature of
seasons. As evidenced by the concepts shown above, we went through
several iterations and landed on a "final three" for Backman to
choose from. These changes and iterations were based on the ongoing
conversation we had to ensure that our visions for the company's
